What is the Contact Pass?
The Contact Pass lets you start conversations with people on FindFlatmates — owners and tenants with a room or flat, people looking for a flatmate, and groups looking for a place together. It costs ₹59 and lasts 7 days.
How much does it cost, and will I be charged again?
₹59 once, for 7 days of access. There is no subscription and no auto-renewal — you are only charged again if you choose to buy another pass.
How many listers can I contact with one pass?
As many as you like. For 7 days you can start unlimited new conversations with any listing, flatmate profile or group in any of our cities.
Do owners or listers have to pay anything?
No. Posting a room, flat or flatmate requirement on FindFlatmates is free, and listers never pay to receive or reply to messages.
Is FindFlatmates a broker? Is there any brokerage?
No. FindFlatmates is not a broker or agent, and we never charge brokerage. You talk directly to the owner, tenant or flatmate — the ₹59 pass is the only thing you pay us.
What can I do without a pass?
Everything except starting a new conversation: search rooms and flats on the map, check commute times to your office or college, save listings, browse flatmate profiles and groups, and post your own place for free.
What happens when my pass expires?
Your conversations and messages stay saved, so you can read them any time. To send new messages or start new conversations, renew your pass — renewing early adds the days on top, so you never lose any. Listers can always reply to you for free.
Will my phone number be shared with listers?
No. You chat inside FindFlatmates; your phone number and email are never shown to other users. Share contact details in the chat only when you’re comfortable.
How do I pay? Is it secure?
Pay with any UPI app, debit or credit card, or net banking. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay; we never see or store your card number or UPI PIN.
Can I get a refund?
The pass starts working the moment you buy it, so it isn’t refundable once active. If money was deducted but your pass didn’t activate, or you were charged twice, you get a full refund — write to us within 30 days.
I paid but my pass isn’t showing. What should I do?
Refresh the page first — most payments confirm within a minute. If it still isn’t active, email our support team with the phone number or email on your account and the payment time; we’ll activate your pass or refund you.
How do I stay safe when renting?
Always visit the place in person before paying anything, and never pay a deposit or token amount to someone you haven’t met. If a listing or person seems suspicious, tap Report and we’ll look into it.
